Here’s an install from one of our Tosot Dealers that highlights both the performance of Tosot heat pumps in Alberta’s climate and some out of the box thinking from one of our partners.
This homeowner converted their garage into extra living space and was incorrectly informed by the original contractor that their existing furnace and ductwork would be sufficient to heat/ cool the space. Without any ductwork or gas servicing the space they were struggling to find a way they could keep it heated during the winter without a major renovation. We installed a 1.5T LOMO PLUS ULTRAHEAT ductless unit to heat and cool the space as all we needed was electricity. Even when the cold snap hit and the temperature dipped below -30C the Tosot Ultraheat unit had no issue keeping them comfortable over the Christmas break!
